Story

The Charity Walk will take place on Saturday, 5th June 2010 to raise money for Meningitis U.K. ‘Search 4 a Vaccine campaign’. The walk is in memory of Liam Keeling, who tragically died suddenly from meningitis in October 2009, aged 13 years. Liam was a happy, loving and caring young man, who loved football, particularly his beloved Walsall F.C. where the charity walk will be drawn to a conclusion. The walk is 33 miles in total and our aim is to complete it in one day. The walk starts at Birmingham F.C. then to Aston Villa F.C., on to West Bromwich Albion F.C., then to Wolverhampton Wanderers F.C., finally coming to an end at Walsall F.C. - hopefully, in time for last orders at the bar!
